Silver gauze woven en broche with coral cut and uncut velvet floral motifs Attributed to Worth & Bobergh. Worn by Mrs. David Lyon Gardiner Oct. 12, 1860, to ball held at the Academy of Music in honor of the Prince of Wales. According to the family tradition, the material was woven in Lyons for the Empress of
Russian and an additional piece was obtained by the Gardiner family. Gift of Miss Sarah Diodati Gardiner.
